Terms and conditions


Tickets are non-refundable/non-transferable. No refunds will be given for a missed departure – please advise your mobile number at the time of booking so that you can be contacted in the unlikely event that tours are delayed. If you are delayed or unable to make a tour through circumstances beyond your control, we may offer alternative time or date, but only if prior notice is given and at managements discretion.

Tour Departures

Please report to our Customer Services representative no later than 15 minutes prior to the departure time of your booked tour. Seating cannot be reserved and is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Smoking, eating

Smoking and eating is NOT permitted on the vehicle.


An adult must accompany children under twelve years. There are no storage facilities on the vehicles therefore buggies are NOT permitted on board but can be left with our guide at your own risk.

Lost Property

Whilst every effort is made to return lost property, GALA SERVICE LTD. cannot be held responsible for property left on the vehicle. Property found must be collected from our offices at Akadémai u. 1.

Accident or Loss

We do not accept any liability for loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or direct or consequential loss, however caused (except for death or personal injury) unless due to our employees’ wilfulness.


Refunds are only permitted for the following reasons:

  • Bad weather that does not permit the tour to run
  • Tour cancelled for a reason imputable for GALA SERVICE LTD
  • Tour is delayed MORE than one hour

Tour Changes

Each tour operates subject to sufficient demand, tours with a low capacity maybe cancelled without prior notice. We will offer you an alternative time slot at your convenience or a full refund. Tour routes and content are subject to change without notice; tours may not be driven in the order as described in the tour descriptions. From time to time, some of the sights may not be available or seen. Tours may be subject to delays and duration longer than advertised due to road and river conditions, please take this point into consideration when choosing a time slot (especially if you have other arrangements planned). Duration of tour hours is approximate.

General Conditions

We may at our discretion, require any person to withdraw from any tour if we deem their behaviour offensive of a nuisance to other passengers and we shall have no further liability. In this case there are no refounds. By the purchase of the ticket and, or by partecipating on a tour you are deemed to have agreed to be bound by the ‘Terms and Conditions’. All matters concerning this booking shall be subject to Hungarian Law. GALA SERVICE LTD recommends that you purchase travel insurance.


All tickets must be prepaid at the time of booking by credit card. If GALA SERVICE LTD. is unable to obtain authorization with the credit card submitted, Customer will be notified by the system. All prices and availability will be confirmed to Customer within 72 hours. If your tour is within the next 72 hours, your E-Ticket will be processed as quickly as possible. If paying for the tour with a credit card, Customer is hereby stating that Customer is the authorized cardholder or that Customer has been authorized by the cardholder to use the credit card. In the event the credit card is dishonored, rejected, or later contested for any reason, Customer agrees to pay the amount indicated on the order form to GALA SERVICE LTD. The rates shown on this web site are GALA SERVICE LTD.’s rates and are not the rates of any other entity.

Confirmation and E-Ticket

An electronic ticket confirmation will be emailed to Customer. This is normally provided within 48 hours. If your tour is within the next 72 hours, your e-ticket will be processed as quickly as possible.

Email Accepted by Customer as Proof of Delivery

GALA SERVICE LTD. provides booking services and delivers E-Tickets by the Internet. Customer hereby agrees that Customer has accepted the Internet as the means of delivery for Customer’s E-Tickets. Customer further agrees that GALA SERVICE LTD.’s proof that the E-Tickets were provided online and sent by email establishes legal proof of delivery. It is Customer’s responsibility to ensure that Customer prints the E-Ticket from the web page provided by GALA SERVICE LTD.
